Farwell Project Advisors, LLC is looking for an Advisor to join our team.


Breadth + Depth.

We are ideally looking for a "T-shaped” advisors.

Our team members have a broad interest and understanding of managing teams and business methods. We also have a deep interest in a specialized area. In addition to our client work, our team members have their own big ideas, love brainstorming sessions, and participate in service-innovation to drive our internal FarWell improvement.


At this time, we need people who have a depth of knowledge as…


Project Management. Having experience formally and independently managing the scope, budget and schedule of a project is ideal. Additional experience with Stakeholder, Communication and Risk Management Plans is also helpful.


Business Analysis + Technical Documentation. Having experience enabling organizational change by defining technical business needs and recommending solutions. Having experience as a Technical Writer, providing details about a product that is either under development or already in use, is a plus!


It would also be great if you have a breadth of experience across…


Agile Methodologies. Having some experience with the frameworks we regularly utilize is very helpful (i.e., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum at Scale, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).


Change Management. Having some awareness of the processes, tools and techniques needed to help manage the people side of change is ideal. If you have managed people in the past, even better!


Continuous Improvement. Having some awareness of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or PDCA would make you a well-rounded advisor. Experience or certifications would be even better.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters in any field, or 3+ years of applicable experience.

Travel Expectations:

  • Travel can be frequent and required for this position. 

  • Engagements are often performed at customer sites, which may be outside of Madison or Wisconsin.

  • Work site locations may vary depending on project engagement. Engagement letters will delineate assigned work site location.


Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work is generally performed in an office environment and routinely requires employees to perform the following while carrying out the essential functions of this job:

  • Use standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer/photocopier, etc.)

  • Sit for long periods of time

  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • Travel occasionally to client sites and other locations for events, meetings, etc.
